Introduction

Welcome! I want you to know that you are not alone and I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and recovery. Therapy is often one of the few places we get be our authentic selves. When we lean into vulnerability, we are free to pursue genuine connection and healing. My office is a safe space and judgement free zone, full of unconditional positive regard. Everyone needs a soundboard; this is your place to feel heard. We will develop a plan to address your concerns together, whether it is managing stress and life transitions or addressing mental health symptoms of conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, or PTSD. For those who want the specifics – I come from a humanistic perspective and have an eclectic style. I like to be strengths-based and use components of CBT, DBT, MI, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness-Based methods. I’m also certified in EMDR with a passion for trauma-informed practices and incorporating somatic and polyvagal-based interventions. If you got lost in the acronyms there, that’s okay; take a seat on the couch next to my therapy dog* and we will figure it out together. (*Therapy dog is optional and availability varies.) On a personal note, therapy is a sacred place for me. I am privileged to share both the most difficult and profoundly beautiful spaces in life with each client that I get to serve. Our sessions might have laughs, tears, or four-letter words - all of which are welcome. I look forward to meeting you.
