Introduction

I am a childhood trauma therapist committed to helping you find the peace, joy and meaning you deserve in your life. In practice for 20 years, I focus on helping clients to heal from their childhood trauma by using the Relationship Recovery Model invented by Amanda Curtin, LICSW and popularized by Patrick Teahan, LICSW. About the Relational Recovery Process (RRP); The RRP model, developed by Amanda Curtin, LICSW and Patrick Teahan, is a structured approach to inner child work that helps adults heal the impact of growing up in dysfunctional families. The process bridges the connection between two vital parts of self — the Adult (present-day awareness) and the Inner Child (emotional memory of the past). Through guided exercises, reflection, and group process, participants learn to reparent the wounded child within, finish emotional business from their family of origin, and reclaim healthy intimacy in the present. 6-MONTH CHILDHOOD TRAUMA RRP HEALING GROUPS are formed throughout the year. These groups are structured, therapist-led groups using the Relational Recovery Process (RRP). A supportive, small-group experience designed to help adults begin healing from dysfunctional family systems. Join the waitlist to be among the first to know when enrollment reopens. I would be happy to talk with you about the model and answer any question you may have. This group may be for you if; -You are curious to explore where you come from and how your childhood has informed your life until now. -You grew up in a dysfunctional family system (e.g., narcissism, emotional neglect, parentification). -You struggle with shame, emotional reactivity, people‑pleasing, or difficulty trusting others. -You’ve done some personal growth work and are ready to go deeper — in relationship (both with yourself and others). -You want to heal patterns, not just learn coping skills. Our first group was our family — if that group harmed us, group therapy can help heal us. Discovering the benefits of psychotherapy work in my youth, I wanted to offer it to others. Born and raised in Switzerland, I moved to the USA when I was 26 years old. I worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit at Cambridge Hospital in MA for 2 years where my passion for childhood trauma started. My experience there planted the seed for what would become a calling to help clients affected by Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. If we agree we are a good fit to work together, I strongly believe I can help you move towards a calmer, happier and more meaningful life.
