Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and have spent the last 20 years walking alongside children, adolescents, young adults, and their families providing support. I have spent a bulk of those years working in Elementary, Junior High, and High School Settings. My main goal in therapy is to create a safe, supportive relationship where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical tools to create meaningful change and build a life they love! At Upstream Counseling I focus on mental health support for children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and Women. I specialize in helping families navigate ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, stress, school challenges, and life transitions through counseling and assessment. I use a Solution Focused, holistic approach to mental health that combines supports such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, creative arts, somatic whole body work, vagus nerve work, mindfulness, EMDR, and DBT.
