Introduction

I am a clinical psychologist in private practice, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD and depression. My treatment approach is informed by evidence-based treatments (primarily CBT), flexibly applied to best address your specific symptoms and long-term goals. I work with adults (18+) for individual treatment and parents of adolescents and young adults with eating disorders. I offer both in-person (in my Wellesley Hills office) and virtual appointments. Throughout my career, I have been interested in the comorbidity (co-occurrence) of psychological symptoms. For example, people often experience both an eating disorder and anxiety, or anxiety and depression. My treatment approach focuses on common factors that underlie many symptoms in order to best address everything you are experiencing. Within this framework, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that best meets your specific concerns and treatment goals. I received my bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University. I completed a predoctoral internship at the University of Chicago Medical Center and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University. During my training, I focused on evidence-based assessment and treatment for a wide range of psychological disorders with an emphasis on eating, anxiety and mood disorders. Additionally, I have held professional positions at McLean Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where I gained additional experience in research addressing issues related to women’s mental and physical health. In addition to my private practice, I currently have appointments in the Eating Disorders Clinical and Research Program (EDCRP) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and as part-time Lecturer on Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. As part of the EDCRP at MGH, I provide weekly supervision for trainees and regularly collaborate with colleagues within this program. *Massachusetts - in-person and telehealth *Florida - telehealth only (https://flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/)
