Introduction

My main specialty is working with people who have been the victim of a scam, and family members of victims as well. This is unfortunately a growing problem called cybercrime trauma, and more people are affected than most of us are aware. Healing after a scam is possible, and so is overcoming the shame and victim-blaming that occur for many. I have resources for you in addition to counseling, too. You may be feeling betrayal, grief, shame, and symptoms of trauma because of this awful experience, and I am so sorry this happened to you. Family members also sometimes get in touch with me to help when a person does not want to accept that they are talking to one or more scammers. I can help, I can offer resources for you, too. Partners of romance scams have a unique experience of betrayal, too. I can help people address all of these problems, and I know it can feel like your life can't ever feel normal again. It can. Please get in touch. I've written a book for survivors of scams, I have online courses available for families, friends, and for mental health professionals to be prepared to help scam victims heal from this crime. I also have a course for you if you just want to know the tactics scammers use so you can protect yourself.
