Introduction

Navigating life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. My goal is to provide a supportive, safe, collaborative space where you can fully express yourself, nurture your strengths and develop skills to grow and heal. I provide a space filled with empathy, caring, calm and gentleness. To meet your unique needs, we will work together to find solutions, create achievable goals, discover strengths, reshape unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and learn skills to support emotion regulation and stress management. To achieve this I use art therapy, mindfulness, solution focused and dialectical behavior (DBT) therapy strategies. I have worked with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic illness, life transitions, career changes, ADHD, PTSD, and in recovery. In my previous career I worked as a full-time artist, elementary art teacher, life coach and academic advisor. As a lifelong artist I believe creativity can be healing and nurturing for our body, mind and soul and if using art in our time together feels right for you we will explore that and if not, that is ok too. In my free time I love playing with my beagles, walking, swimming, reading mysteries, spending time with my family, watching football, gardening and making art! I look forward to getting to know you and being a part of your healing journey
