As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, many of my clients are either exploring and accepting their identity for the first time or deepening their understanding of themself while working on other things, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. I feel incredibly grateful to offer clients a uniquely safe space where they often feel comfortable enough to share and explore things they have previously been unable to talk about. I show up with genuineness, curiosity, empathy, and humor. My approach to therapy is best described as person-centered with a humanistic and trauma-informed core. I pull from and incorporate various modalities such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and IFS. I try to strike a balance between providing short-term solutions to alleviate distress and actively exploring any root causes.
