Hello! I am Chanae' and I identify as an African American female clinician with over 25 years of experience in the field of Social Work, supporting children, individuals, and families within my community. Over the past four years, I have focused on providing individual therapy with an emphasis on helping clients learn to “Step with Purpose” in every area of their lives. My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, where we explore early life experiences and attachments that may continue to influence current thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. I believe that understanding the foundation of who we are can create meaningful insight, healing, and growth. I strongly believe that each person is the expert of their own life. My role is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged throughout their journey. I meet clients where they are while helping them build the tools, confidence, and self-awareness needed to become the healthiest version of themselves. I enjoy working with individuals navigating their mental health needs as well as if you are experiencing parenting challenges, life transitions, emotional healing, stress, and personal growth. It is rewarding to witness clients recognize their strengths, overcome barriers, and develop healthier ways to move through life with confidence and begin to be intentional about "Stepping with Purpose". My goal is to support clients in creating meaningful change while strengthening their relationships with themselves and others. At this time, I offer part-time availability Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. I look forward to partnering with you and supporting you in accomplishing your personal goals.
