Introduction

I am a license clinical social worker in private practice with over 10 years of clinical experience providing direct practice and supervisory oversight to medical and mental health populations transitioning from acute care settings to the community. My treatment experience includes crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, in managed care, hospitals and community mental health settings. Here are some questions that may help you consider therapy. Do you recognize unhealthy coping patterns when you are met with adversity? Has these unhealthy ways of coping with stress, anxiety or depression negatively impacted your personal, professional or intimate relationships? Are you seeking help now because you no longer want to be emotionally burdened by these feelings? and are seeking a deeper understanding around your traumas in hopes to heal from them? For the past 10 years I treated patients with chronic health issues, depression and anxiety disorders. I provide a supportive and empathic approach to therapy. I use a client center approach where patients can discuss their issues at their own pace. I use an array of therapeutic interventions including CBT and Trauma Informed Interventions. I know it takes courage to be vulnerable and seek profession help. Let's begin the healing process together, at your own pace, one session at a time. Contact me for a consultation.
