I’m Chanelle (she/her), a systems-trained therapist working with adults and teens and couples navigating complex trauma, anger, grief, and the impacts of life transitions that can leave you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself. My approach is human, relational, and rooted in curiosity. I’m not here to watch you perform, edit yourself, or show up with the perfectly organized version of your story. I’d rather understand what it’s actually been like for you. The things that don't make sense yet, the things you've had to do to get through, and the parts of your story that deserve a little more context than they've been given. In our work together, we make space for complexity. We might slow things down, notice what’s happening in the moment, or connect what’s showing up now to earlier experiences. You also don’t have to hold it all alone here, there’s room for the messy, ridiculous, and joyful parts of being human. Laughter belongs in the room too. We will get curious about the patterns, protective strategies, and relationship dynamics that have shaped your experience. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and somatic approaches, but I care more about helping you understand yourself than teaching you therapy jargon. Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade in corporate America. I know what it can feel like to be disconnected from your own life... like you’re going through the motions without really being in it. Therapy can be a place to come back into that without having to do it all alone. If you’re feeling stuck or not sure where to start, you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I’m here when you’re ready. Chanelle Johnson, M.S., PLMFT Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor: Amy Donnelly, LMFT #2019038803
