Introduction

Chanetta Booker, ED. S, LMHP-R, CSAC, QMHP, MA, MS I am a dedicated mental health and substance use therapist with several years of experience helping adolescents, adults, and families navigate life's challenges. My clinical background includes working with individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders across various treatment settings. I have experience supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), grief and loss, adjustment disorders, and other emotional and behavioral concerns. I also specialize in treating substance use disorders, including alcohol and drug dependence, relapse prevention, recovery support, and the unique challenges associated with dual diagnosis. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and mindfulness-based interventions. I believe every individual has the capacity for growth and resilience when provided with a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. I strive to empower clients to develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, improve emotional well-being, and achieve lasting recovery. Whether you are struggling with substance use, managing a mental health condition, or navigating a difficult life transition, I am committed to meeting you where you are and partnering with you to create meaningful, sustainable change.
