I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders and disordered eating, relationship and family concerns, trauma, grief, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and other emotional challenges. Life can feel overwhelming at times, particularly when you have been struggling with the same concerns or patterns for a long time. My goal is to provide a supportive and comfortable space where you can feel understood, gain greater insight into yourself, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to create meaningful and lasting change. My approach to therapy is compassionate and collaborative. Together, we will explore both current challenges and longer-standing patterns that may be affecting how you feel, think, or relate to others. I believe therapy should not only help you better understand yourself, but also provide concrete strategies you can use in your everyday life. We will build on the strengths you already have while identifying changes that can help you feel more confident and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges. I have extensive experience treating eating disorders and disordered eating, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and concerns related to food, weight, and body image. I understand how complex and challenging eating disorders can be and how deeply they can affect both the individual and their family. Recovery is not always easy, but meaningful and lasting recovery is absolutely possible. When appropriate, I collaborate with family members, dietitians, physicians, psychiatrists, and other treatment providers to provide coordinated and comprehensive support throughout the recovery process. I believe there is no single approach to therapy that works for everyone. Treatment should be individualized to your unique needs, experiences, strengths, and goals. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel genuinely heard and supported while also receiving insight, honest feedback, and encouragement to make meaningful changes. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more confident in yourself, develop healthier ways of coping, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
