I was a registered dental hygienist for over two decades before I make the leap into counseling due a deep desire to help people in a different way. From my experience in life and in dentistry, everyone needs help at times! Even change that is positive and growth oriented can be difficult, but you do not have to navigate it alone. Trained in EMDR, I approach therapy from an evidence-based wellness model that includes the mind (thoughts,) body (sensations and the nervous system,) and the spirit (meaning, purpose, and connection with something greater than ourselves). I have more than 6 years of experience serving individuals with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, hoarding disorder, adult ADHD, caregiver stress and burnout, and issues related to aging in adults. My passion is not only to provide you the space you need to process, but to give you tools to help you heal yourself. I offer a 15-minute phone consultation at no charge and accept a variety of insurances.
