I came to where I am now after years as a community and labor organizer and understand how challenging it is to try to thrive within society as it currently functions. One of my passions is helping clients improve their connection to the healing power of nature and play. I have seen the positive and humbling impact of the outdoors on countless individuals and groups, especially those who have experienced trauma and oppression, by what it teaches us about being human members of an ecosystem. Let's walk and talk, play a game! Also, it rains sometimes. And that teaches us something, too! I believe that the “personal is political” and am open to helping clients develop more holistic treatment plans that incorporate drawing on the support and resources that exist in your community and realizing your ability to change both yourself and the broader society. I am currently prioritizing in-person clients and offer an accessible and COVID-conscious space. If you are interested in building therapeutic relationships and gaining insight experientially, then I am thrilled to accompany you on that journey!
