About Me: I've been a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for over six years, and I specialize in working with kids and teens navigating ADHD, depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders. I don't currently treat eating disorders, and while I'm not able to diagnose or treat PANS/PANDAS, I've built up a lot of knowledge in this area and I'm glad to be a resource for parents trying to figure out next steps. I also enjoy supporting teens through the big life transitions, like moving from high school to college, navigating relationships, identity and gender exploration that often comes with adolescence. How I Work: With younger kids, I focus on helping them understand their own feelings and feel more in control of their care, including building confidence around taking medication and learning skills like how to swallow pills. With teens, my goal is to build real trust. I want them to feel comfortable opening up to me about what they're actually going through, not just what they think they're supposed to say. And with parents, I see myself as a coach and a sounding board. I want parents to be able to lean on my experience, ask the questions they are sitting with, and get honest feedback so they feel less alone.
