I bring a unique blend of experience to the therapy room: Part soldier, part chaplain, part therapist, and 100% human. After jumping out of planes as an 82nd Airborne Infantryman Soldier and walking with Soldiers as a U.S. Army Chaplain for over 20 years, I’ve learned a thing or two about pain, resilience, and the power of presence. As a wartime veteran, I know firsthand how hard it can be to ask for help. Sometimes, the hardest battles aren’t on the outside but the ones we fight in silence. Let’s be honest, admitting we’re struggling can feel like going to sick call for a paper cut: it feels small, but it still hurts, and you know someone’s going to say something. But here's the good news, you're not alone. If we can move past the fear of judgment, we may find that there are people who will truly listen, stand with us, and help us find a way forward. I’d be honored to be one of those people for you. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A #9148) in the state of South Carolina, under the supervision of Cheryl Hair, Licensed Professional Counselor (LCP-S #10545).
