Thank you for visiting Blue Horizon Counseling, LLC. I am a licensed professional counselor and certified EMDR specialist. I graduated from Liberty University with a Master's of Arts in Professional Counseling. My clinical background is in trauma informed care, the dynamics of self and relationships and finding peace in life's most difficult moments. I have spent my professional career working with teens and adults struggling with life transitions, trauma, relationships, self acceptance, emotional stability and over all wellbeing. I am a Haralson County native, as well as a wife and a mother. As a person and clinician, I am down to earth, approachable and accepting of others. I am committed to ongoing professional learning and personal growth so I can continually offer my clients effective and helpful tools. My approach to therapy is person-centered. I met clients where they are and believe they are the expert in their own life. The therapeutic process is about helping the client meet their goals in a warm, safe and supportive environment. I am grateful for the opportunity to support my local and surrounding communities and I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.
