Introduction

I partner with system-weary, community-rooted seekers to re-story their lives beyond binaries and capitalism, grow what’s growable, break cycles, and move toward home and belonging. Counseling-seekers curious about how our systems affect their mental health, eager to disrupt mediocrity, unfulfilled by the status quo, community-oriented, and seeking a life beyond the bourgeoisie's status quo fit well with my practice. Together, we can look beyond normative capitalistic constructs for a sense of home, calm, clarity, identity, and fulfillment. In session, you will explore your life through guided storytelling, focusing on your unique reality and how you experience your world. We'll examine external barriers, ideals you've committed to, connections to the past and future, values you haven't expressed yet, and ways to stretch beyond your current awareness. I'll help you grow what's growable, break cycles, and become a way-maker. I don’t do counseling to make you more productive for the machine. I do counseling to help you return to yourself, your dignity, and a life that fits your nervous system. I’m Appalachian, shaped by what I’ve seen when shame, religion, capitalism, and supremacy culture are weaponized by those in power. I won’t reduce you to a label. We use guided storytelling to provide context, soften self-blame, and identify the places where you’re already resisting what you know isn't right for your life. Healing is not isolation. It’s resourcing, connection, and belonging. My work is grounded in liberation and collective repair because personal healing and the world we live in are not separate.
