Introduction

Have you ever struggled with negative feelings about your body? Have you ever wanted to experience the joy of loving your body and a deeper love for yourself? I see you and your experience is valid. You are brave. It takes a great deal of courage to seek help. If you are visiting this page, you have already taken the first step! I am passionate about helping clients reach their goals using a compassionate, trauma-informed, body positive and feminist lens. I am a HAES-aligned, LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, who centers on body justice. Every person deserves respect, compassion, and care. As a woman who has experienced body trauma, I have a personal connection with how diet culture, fatphobia, and stigma impact self-worth and emotional health. It is important that my clients feel affirmed and safe. Diversity is valued--all are welcome here! While I practice from a body-positive lens, I have practiced for over eight years in a wide range of settings. I have extensive experience treating older adults, complex trauma, at-risk youth, religious trauma, and family issues. I am also growing in my work with couples and diverse relationships. I am EMDR trained and certified in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Outside of therapy, I love to travel, play music, spend time with my family, engage in body justice activism, improve my chess skills, and grow in my yoga practice.
