Chenda Dyck, LMFT, is currently pursuing her PhD. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy from Fresno Pacific University and her Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from California State University, Fresno, in 2016. Originally from Cambodia, Chenda came to the United States in 2003 through the love and sponsorship of her adoptive American family. As a first-generation Cambodian American immigrant and a cisgender, able-bodied woman of color, her lived experience of navigating two cultures deeply informs her work as a psychotherapist. Growing up in a multigenerational household shaped her appreciation for education, community, resilience, and family. She brings cultural humility, compassion, and authenticity to her work, helping clients deepen self-connection, build healthier relationships, and find meaning through life’s challenges.
