You've spent years holding everything together—taking care of what needs to be done and showing up for everyone who depends on you. But lately, things aren't working the way they used to. You're exhausted. The same patterns keep showing up. You know something needs to change, but you're not quite sure what—or where to begin. Sometimes an hour a week simply doesn't feel like enough space to get underneath what has been building for years. I offer a different way to do therapy. A therapy intensive is a focused, one-, two-, or three-day in-person experience that gives us extended, uninterrupted time to focus on you and one central area of your life. An intensive creates conditions that survival rarely allows: time to slow down, focused attention on what matters most, and enough relational safety to listen more closely to yourself. It may be especially helpful when you're navigating a difficult transition or relationship, unresolved trauma or grief, a persistent pattern you haven't been able to change, or simply the growing realization: I can't keep living this way. Unlike weekly therapy, which offers continuity over time, an intensive provides continuity within the work itself. We can stay with what matters, follow connections as they emerge, and pause when needed without repeatedly starting and stopping. The goal isn't to do therapy faster. It's to create enough time and space to go deeper without overriding your nervous system in the process. Your Intensive Is Built Around You There is no formula you have to fit yourself into. We begin with the issue, pattern, relationship, or experience you most want to understand. Our work may include: • Exploring the lived experiences, relationships, culture, and social conditions that shaped you. • Understanding how trauma and your nervous system shaped patterns of protection. • Making sense of protective adaptations like caretaking, achievement, perfectionism, hyper-independence, or vigilance without treating them as flaws. • Strengthening your sense of self-trust and discernment by distinguishing protection from your present-day truth, values, and inner knowing. • Integrating what you discover into your choices, boundaries, relationships, and everyday life. We work at a pace your nervous system can hold, with room for reflection, movement, nourishment, and rest. Going deeper doesn't mean pushing harder—it means creating enough safety and space to get closer to the root of what matters. Making Room for Something Different An intensive is an opportunity to understand yourself differently. As long-standing patterns begin to make sense, shame can give way to compassion. You can begin rebuilding self-trust, restoring internal authority, and reconnecting with your own humanness—so your choices can be guided less by survival and more by your values, truth, and inner knowing. You don't have to earn your worth by carrying more, doing more, or becoming more. If you're ready to give yourself the time and attention you've spent years giving everyone else, schedule a complimentary consultation to explore whether an in-person intensive is right for you.
