Cheryl is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. She creates a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered. Before entering the counseling field, Cheryl built careers in higher education and corporate finance, giving her a unique understanding of balancing personal and professional demands, navigating change, and finding purpose during life transitions. Cheryl integrates evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and DBT-informed skills. She believes therapy is a partnership and helps clients recognize unhelpful patterns, build practical coping skills, identify their strengths and values, and create meaningful, lasting change.
