Hello! My name is Chloe Pfannenstiel, and I am currently completing my Master’s in Counseling at St. Edward’s University with a focus on marriage, couples & family counseling. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psycholog from the University of Okahoma, and I have a passion for helping individuals, couples & families navigate life. I have previous experience working in crisis intervention, individual counseling, couples & family counseling and school counseling with elementary school children. I believe that at our core, we all share a unique human experience that connects us all. I also believe that we all deserve compassion, respect and understanding. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for all of my clients. I approach counseling from a Person-Centered and Emotionally Focused perspective. I always want to create an open environment where individuals can show up truly as they are. I assist my clients in building awareness around their emotions and how these emotions can affect their behavior and relationships. Ultimately, I hope to assist individuals in recognizing their innate ability to evolve and grow in who they are. Outside of my academic and professional work, I love spending time reading, taking walks around Town Lake, spending time with my friends and family, watching college football and spending time with my cat, Tuxie. As I embark on my journey with YMCA counseling, I am hopeful that you’ll join me! If you want to connect with me or if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
