I have an interest in working with neurodivergent children and their families, adolescents, adults, those who have experienced trauma, and those with illness or disabilities that is based in an affirming framework. My goal is to be with you as you explore and gain an understanding of yourself and your world. With children, I use the power of play as play is the natural language for children to process their world and to express themselves. I have over 15 years of experience working in education, multicultural settings, trauma-informed practices, and with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults. I hold a certificate in Play Therapy from Missouri State University and am Autplay Certified. I pull from a variety of evidence-based interventions tailored to meet individual needs. I believe that growth occurs through a safe and genuine relationship between the client and the counselor. I strive to create an inclusive, judgement-free, and collaborative space where you feel safe to be your authentic self. Because everyone is unique, my approach is to meet you where you are.
