Hi, I’m Christian, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Oregon (L10512). I specialize in supporting older adults, family caregivers, and individuals living with chronic or serious illness, disability, dementia, and major life transitions. Later adulthood and caregiving often bring unique emotional challenges—grief and loss, changing roles and identities, health uncertainty, burnout, and questions about purpose and independence. These experiences can affect mental health differently than earlier stages of life, and they deserve thoughtful, specialized care. With nearly a decade of experience in the helping professions, I’ve supported adults across the lifespan as they navigate anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship stress, and the emotional impact of long-term illness. I offer a compassionate, steady space to process difficult emotions, adapt to change, and reconnect with what matters most. I provide secure video and phone therapy sessions, typically about one hour long. For clients with serious illness, disability, or caregiving responsibilities, home-based sessions may be available on Portland’s Eastside and nearby communities east of the Willamette River, with health insurer approval. Reaching out takes courage—I’m glad you’re here. To request a free 15-minute consultation, please use the purple "request an appointment" button at the top or bottom of this site.
