Introduction

The Counselors Corner is a group counseling practice committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. Our clinicians work collaboratively to support clients in strengthening relationships and enhancing overall well-being through ethical, client-centered care. The practice is led by Clinical Director Christie Belle, who is also the author of Dear Single Mother: A Journal of Autism, Isolation, and Self-Discovery. Under her leadership, The Counselors Corner integrates research-informed therapeutic approaches with autism-informed care, lived experience, and personalized guidance to meet the diverse needs of the individuals and families we serve. James Whitehead, APC, specializes in supporting clients managing anxiety, depression, and life adjustments, including those navigating catastrophic situations and major life changes. He provides individual, couples, marital, and group counseling sessions designed to foster healing, self-awareness, and personal growth. Charles Sellars, LMSW, works with individuals ages 12 and older who are struggling with grief, stress, anxiety, depression, end-of-life concerns, and issues related to loss. He is committed to providing holistic care and creating a safe, open space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. We also offer clinical supervision for associate-level clinicians seeking licensure, providing guidance that supports professional development, enhances clinical skills, and promotes ethical, effective practice in the field of mental health.
