Introduction

Hi! I'm Christina, and I'm so glad you're here! Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding a therapist who feels like the right fit is an important part of that journey. I truly love the opportunity to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life's challenges, and I'm continually inspired by the resilience people show, even in their most difficult seasons. One of the greatest joys of my work is helping clients recognize the incredible resilience and strength they often don't yet see in themselves. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered. I strive to build a relationship rooted in trust, compassion, and genuine connection so that you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. My approach is warm and collaborative, and my hope is that together we'll work to help you better understand yourself, develop practical tools, and build the confidence to feel more in control of your life, your emotions, and the path ahead. I enjoy working with adults, young adults, and college students navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, burnout, OCD, relationship concerns, self-esteem, women's issues, and trauma. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for support through a new season of life, I believe therapy can be a place to gain clarity, discover your strengths, and create meaningful change. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating techniques from psychodynamic therapy, DBT-informed interventions, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care. Because every individual is unique, I tailor therapy to meet your specific needs, goals, and experiences rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. In our sessions, you can expect a balance of compassion, understanding, validation, thoughtful reflection, and gentle challenge when needed. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you not only process life's difficulties but also recognize your own resilience, celebrate your progress, and learn to trust yourself and your ability to navigate whatever comes next. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lock Haven University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with individuals in a variety of settings, providing therapy, conducting assessments, and supporting clients through many of life's challenges. Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our dog, Neil, trying new recipes in the kitchen, baking something sweet, exploring local coffee shops, moving my body through walks or exercise, or working on a new home project. I value health and wellness and believe caring for ourselves in small, intentional ways can have a meaningful impact on our overall well-being. I also believe that finding joy in life's little moments helps us stay grounded, and I look forward to helping you discover what brings you that same sense of balance and fulfillment. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm honored you're considering allowing me to be a part of it. I look forward to meeting you, supporting you through life's challenges, and helping you move towards your goals!
