Christina Bourguignon, LMHC, PMH-C, CAMS-II, CPTS-II Christina is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to working collaboratively with clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. She utilizes person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and strengths-based approaches to support individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges and transitions. Christina earned her Master's degree in Counseling and Community Psychology from The Sage Colleges and has been licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in New York State since 2015. Her post-master's training includes specialized work in Anger Management and Parent Training Interventions, and she currently holds certifications as a Certified Anger Management Specialist II (CAMS-II) and Certified Parent Training Specialist II (CPTS-II). Throughout her career, Christina has worked extensively with new parents and mothers at all stages of parenting through individual counseling, psychoeducation and therapeutic visitation. Her passion for women's mental health and parenting support has recently led her to pursue specialized training in perinatal mental health. In 2026, Christina earned her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). She is committed to helping individuals navigate the emotional and psychological changes that can accompany pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, identity shifts, parenting stress, anxiety, depression, and the transition to parenthood. Christina provides a supportive, compassionate environment where clients can build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
