Therapy for women in midlife. You’ve spent much of your life taking care of others, meeting expectations, and doing what needs to be done. From the outside, you may look capable and accomplished. But lately, you may be wondering: When do I get to focus on me? What do I want for this part of my life? You may feel burned out, anxious, low in energy, or simply disconnected from yourself. You may be adjusting to changing relationships with adult children, questioning old roles, struggling to set boundaries, or realizing how difficult it is to prioritize your own needs after years of putting others first. Midlife can bring a growing awareness that you don’t want to miss your own life while taking care of everyone else’s. Therapy can be a place to slow down and listen more closely to yourself- to reconnect with your body, your own wisdom, and what matters to you now. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I especially enjoy working with women who are ready to turn some of the care and attention they’ve given to others toward themselves. You don’t need to know exactly what you need or want yet. Therapy can be a place to begin figuring that out.
