I have a special interest in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of public safety professionals, including those in fire service, law enforcement, emergency medical services, dispatch, the military, and veterans of these professions. As the spouse of a first responder, I have a personal understanding of the unique demands these roles place on individuals and their families. This perspective has led me to focus my work on serving both public safety professionals and the loved ones who share their distinct lifestyle and challenges. In addition to this work, I specialize in health behavior interventions for sleep disorders, weight management, chronic pain, and other health-related conditions. I also provide supervision and training for students and clinicians who want to develop skills in these evidence-based interventions. I conduct psychological evaluations for a variety of purposes, including pre-employment assessments, VA Compensation and Pension examinations, and bariatric pre-surgical evaluations. My professional experience includes work in a variety of settings, including a VA Medical Center, hospital systems, inpatient rehabilitation, and private practice. I am committed to staying current with advances in the mental health field so I can provide the highest quality care possible. I look forward to connecting with you.
