Introduction

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with extensive experience in helping others since 1993. Growing up, I experienced alcoholism in my family of origin and witnessed intimate partner violence. This began my journey to heal myself and help others to heal and empower themselves. These early challenges fueled my commitment to be the change I want to see in the world. My experiences and education have deepened my passion for guiding individuals to transform anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief and addiction and to integrate these elements into your true nature of self. It is possible to create effective, long-lasting coping skills to live the life you want to live and experience the power to heal now. My approach is rooted in genuine curiosity and neutrality. By blending traditional therapies such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) along with specialty trainings in Neuro‑Linguistic Programming (NLP), Family Constellations and Brain Spotting, this enables me to customize each session for deeper healing. These techniques incorporate grounding, centering, and meditation to help you stay present and ease stress for long-lasting change behavior and truly empower you with tools and insights that foster resilience and encourage a sense of well-being. NLP is a method that examines how neurological processes, language, and behavior shape our experiences. It offers strategies to model successful behaviors and reprogram thinking for desired outcomes and better communication. Family Constellations, a therapeutic approach that maps family relationships to reveal intergenerational patterns, loyalties, and unresolved traumas influencing current behavior. I am a Certified Brain Spotting Practitioner, which uses eye position to locate and process trauma by accessing stored emotional memories, integrating neuroscience, mindfulness, and psychotherapy for healing. I am a Generative Trance Practitioner taught by Stephen Gilligan. Generative Trance is a client-led process that helps you access the deep creative intelligence of your unconscious mind and integrate it with your conscious awareness. It brings together the intuitive, nonverbal wisdom of the right brain with the logical, verbal skills of the left brain—creating a powerful, integrated state of mind. Rooted in connection to nature and the greater field of consciousness shared by all living beings, Generative Trance taps into holistic awareness that goes beyond self-limiting patterns. When these two parts of the mind work in harmony, you gain the clarity, creativity, and resilience needed to face life’s challenges with a grounded and empowered presence. Generative Trance isn’t about escaping reality—it’s about deepening your connection to it, and to yourself. This integration empowers individuals to face life's challenges with resilience, creativity, and clarity. Working together in therapy means you are entering a safe, supportive space where your voice is truly heard and transformation is possible.
