I believe that the human spirit is resilient, and with a little support, we all have immense potential to heal from painful life experiences. I specialize in children birth to five, adolescents/young adults, as well as adults, and focus on attachment issues, early development, parenting support and family dynamics, recovery from abuse, anxiety, and trauma. As a trauma therapist, I provide trauma-based interventions include EMDR and parts work/IFS, in addition to cognitive behavioral practices, play-based therapy, and attachment theory perspectives. As an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, I also incorporate trauma informed yoga and mindfulness to support feelings of safety and presence. While therapy can be serious and full of all the big feelings, the therapy space can also be one in which we find laughter, hope, and connection. I come from a strengths-based perspective that we already have within us everything we need to heal.
