Introduction

Christopher Schell, LMFT Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist — California I believe that every person carries the potential for healing, growth, and meaningful connection—sometimes, we just need the right support along the way. I’m Christopher Schell, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California, passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. I understand that no two people experience life in the same way, and I approach my work with deep respect for the unique challenges, identities, and aspirations each client brings to the therapy room. My Specialties I work with adult individuals who are ready to gain insight into their struggles and cultivate the confidence to create fulfilling, authentic lives through healthier relationships—with themselves and others. My areas of specialization include: ✔️ Depression and Anxiety Disorders ✔️ Trauma and Complex PTSD ✔️ ADHD and Other Neurocognitive Disorders ✔️ Substance Use and Recovery Support ✔️ Stress Management and Life Transitions ✔️ Couples and Family Therapy With advanced training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional I & II (CCTP), Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), I draw from a variety of evidence-based tools to support your healing journey. My training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other trauma-focused approaches allows me to guide clients through the process of healing deep emotional wounds and building resilience. My Therapeutic Approach At the heart of my work is a collaborative, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and valued. Together, we’ll develop a personalized roadmap that honors your lived experiences, aligns with your values, and leads to meaningful, lasting progress. I integrate evidence-based modalities tailored to your needs, whether you're managing daily stress, facing relationship challenges, or working through the impacts of trauma and neurodivergence. Collaboration Across the Lifespan I work with clients of all ages—children navigating developmental challenges, adults striving for balance and confidence, couples seeking deeper connection, and families overcoming conflict. Whether addressing immediate concerns or long-term goals, we’ll build the tools you need to feel empowered in facing life’s complexities.
