LICENSURE, EDUCATION, & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 6 years of experience and hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a Holistic Studies specialization from John F. Kennedy University School of Psychology at National University. I have experience working in school-based settings, community mental health, and now in my own boutique private practice, Integrative Wellness Counseling. MY FOCUS I support adults (18 and older) with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, performance anxiety, and depression. My practice focuses on introverts who need space to recharge and highly sensitive people (HSPs) who may feel overstimulated and overwhelmed, including college students, working professionals, and people navigating career transitions. I provide telehealth (video) therapy services through a HIPAA-compliant platform for clients who reside in California. HOLISTIC & INTEGRATIVE APPROACH I utilize a holistic and integrative perspective to support your wellness. Holistic means that I consider the whole person by taking into consideration the different areas of your life that may impact your well-being—including emotional, cognitive, physical, relational, cultural, spiritual/religious (if applicable), and lifestyle factors. Integrative means that I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches and create a custom recipe—an individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, goals, and circumstances. WHAT DOES “BOUTIQUE” MEAN? I value quality over quantity. My boutique private practice is intentionally smaller, with a limited number of clients and appointments each week. This model allows me to prioritize my own self-care, which helps me show up more fully for my clients and provide high-quality care. I intentionally leave space between appointments rather than scheduling clients back-to-back, so sessions don’t feel rushed. When appropriate, I may also take time outside of sessions to research resources or tools to support your individual wellness goals. MY JOURNEY TO COUNSELING Counseling is my second career. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in marketing for over 10 years, primarily in the security software technology industry in the Bay Area. My previous educational background includes a B.S. in Marketing from San José State University and a Master’s in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from California State University, East Bay. I decided to pursue a career in counseling to better align my work with my values of holistic wellness, self-care, personal growth, minimalism, and helping others.
