Introduction

Hi, I'm Cindy Lee Cassell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over fifteen years of experience helping women heal, find steadiness, and reconnect with themselves. I work most often with women who carry a great deal — those who parent, work, and caretake others, often at the cost of their own wellbeing. If you feel burned out, anxious, stuck in old patterns, or disconnected from who you used to be, you're exactly the kind of person I love to help. My approach is integrative and whole-person. I draw on proven, evidence-based therapies while honoring the emotional, relational, and — if it's meaningful to you — spiritual dimensions of healing. My role is to meet you where you are, with warmth and without judgment, and help you move toward a life that feels like yours again. Areas of Specialty EMDR therapy for trauma Anxiety, stress, and burnout Grief and loss Codependency and people-pleasing patterns Life transitions, divorce, and rebuilding identity Self-worth and boundary-setting Faith and spiritually integrated therapy (offered, never required) I also bring training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Spiritual Direction. What Working Together Can Look Like Therapy with me is a compassionate space to set down what you've been carrying and understand it without shame. Together we'll work through the wounds and patterns that keep you feeling overwhelmed, and build practical tools — and renewed inner steadiness — so you can move forward with more peace and clarity. My hope is that you leave not just feeling better, but more whole: reconnected to your own strength, your purpose, and the self that's been waiting underneath the exhaustion. Reaching out is a brave first step, and you don't have to take it alone.
