Introduction

Hello, and welcome to Anchored in Grace Counseling. I'm Cindy Davis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving preteens, teens, and adults throughout Tennessee through in-person and telehealth counseling. I understand that reaching out for counseling can feel like a difficult first step. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. I believe that every person has strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth, even during life's most challenging seasons. My approach to counseling is person-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and build lasting tools for healing and resilience. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, women's mental health, life transitions, grief and loss, first responders, and individuals navigating difficult seasons of life. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach that can help reduce the emotional impact of traumatic experiences. For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian-integrated counseling, thoughtfully incorporating faith into the therapeutic process while always respecting each person's individual beliefs and values. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with past experiences, or simply looking for support as you move through a life transition, you don't have to face it alone. My hope is that you leave each session feeling understood, encouraged, and equipped with practical tools that help you move toward lasting hope and meaningful change.
