Introduction

You look like you have it together. You show up, you get things done, and the people around you assume you're fine. But underneath, you're overthinking conversations that ended hours ago, bracing for problems that haven't happened, and wondering why rest never actually feels restful. Being capable doesn't mean the pressure is sustainable. I work with adults and couples across Texas who are tired of holding everything together alone. Many of my clients come in for anxiety and overthinking, unresolved experiences that still shape how they react, people-pleasing and perfectionism, or patterns in their relationships they can see clearly but can't seem to change. My work is trauma-focused. I'm EMDR trained and ERP informed, and I draw on approaches that address not just what you think but how your nervous system learned to keep you safe. That said, you don't need to know any of that to start. You just need somewhere to put the weight down. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, and I offer sessions in English and Spanish. All sessions are virtual, so we can work together from anywhere in Texas. I'm in network with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, with private-pay and limited sliding-scale options available. If any of this sounds familiar, I'd be glad to talk about whether we're a good fit.
