Introduction

IHi, I'm Cindy! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Founder and CEO of Positive Intentions, LLC, an award-winning mental health boutique built on the belief that mental health care should be ethical, intentional, deeply human, and anything but one-size-fits-all. My clinical work focuses exclusively on men in their late twenties and older navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship and attachment challenges, and major life transitions. Whether you're adjusting to fatherhood, navigating marriage or divorce, questioning your career, or struggling with patterns you've carried for years, my approach is direct, compassionate, and sometimes challenging. I'm not interested in spending session after session talking around the same problem. I want to help you understand what's happening beneath the surface and create meaningful change. I'm trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and integrate parts work, Polyvagal-informed concepts, somatic interventions, and CBT. Together, we'll explore the protective patterns you've developed, understand why they're there, and determine whether they're still serving you. Beyond the therapy room, I lead Positive Intentions' continued growth, including Positive Intentions Medication Services, clinician development, clinical supervision, and community partnerships. I also provide professional training and consulting focused on ethical practice, trauma-informed leadership, and organizational development. My philosophy is simple: understand the patterns, challenge what isn't working, and create change that actually carries into your everyday life.
