Maybe you've spent a long time wondering why certain things affect you so deeply. Why you question your worth, struggle to trust yourself, or feel anxious even when nothing seems wrong. Maybe you've been hurt by someone you trusted, lost parts of yourself in a relationship, or found that experiences you thought you'd moved past still shape how you feel about yourself and others. Maybe you long for closeness but find yourself pulling away when someone gets too close. Maybe you've become so accustomed to holding everything together that you don't know what it would feel like to let someone see how much you're carrying. I'm Claire, the therapist behind Rooted Pines Healing. I work with adults navigating trauma, relationship and attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and identity. My approach is person-centered, relational, and rooted in the belief that the ways we've learned to protect ourselves often have stories worth understanding. In our work together, we can explore those stories with curiosity rather than judgment, making room for feelings that haven't always had a place to go. You don't have to know exactly what's wrong, where it began, or how to put it into words before reaching out. Sometimes, the first step is simply allowing yourself to begin.
