I am passionate about supporting adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, life transitions, resolving trauma or are struggling with relationships or communication. I apply a person-centered, strengths-based approach oriented around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). There is no “one-size fits all” approach to therapy, and I will collaborate with you to find the therapeutic techniques that work best for you. I believe in the importance of the mind-body connection and incorporate aspects of mindfulness and body awareness into her practice. I received my Masters in Social Work from Catholic University and interned with DC public schools and in the non-profit sector. Before pursuing a career in Social Work, I spent several years serving in the Navy and have first-hand experience both as a veteran and military spouse and am enthusiastic about supporting military families. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking around Northern Virginia with my family and dog and sharing my love of running, biking, reading and yoga with my two young children.
