Hey there! I’m Claude Thomas, LMSW (she/they), a therapist working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, life transitions, relational challenges, and trauma recovery. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and affirming of marginalized identities. I aim to create a collaborative, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. If you’re considering therapy, reaching out can feel daunting, but you deserve care that honors your full story and your whole self. My specialties include working with the LGBTQIA+ community, immigrants and children of immigrants, and neurodivergent clients. I integrate various therapeutic modalities (ie. psychodynamic, acceptance and commitment, internal family systems, cognitive-behavioral, somatic, expressive arts, play, etc.) to tailor treatment to your individual goals. My goal is to meet you with warmth, curiosity, and respect as we work through what’s been weighing on you. You don’t need to mask or minimize who you are here. As for me, I’m proud to be a South Asian and lesbian therapist whose personal journey led me to this profession. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy poetry, live music, historical dramas, Indian food, working out, and family walks with my partner and dog. I’d be honored to connect with you!
