Introduction

Hello, I'm Claudia. I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to question your worth. In my early years, I experienced bullying that left me longing for one simple thing—to feel safe being myself. Those experiences sparked a desire to understand why people hurt, why we become disconnected from ourselves, &, more importantly, how we heal. They planted the seed that eventually led me to pursue a career in counseling. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling & began my career believing my purpose was to help others heal. Then life reminded me that healing isn't something we accomplish once. Like many of us, I experienced difficult life events that challenged what I thought I had figured out. Those seasons required me to slow down, look inward, & do my own work. At first, my passion was about helping others heal. Over time, it also became about understanding my own patterns, strengthening my resilience, & continuing to grow as a person. That journey changed not only who I am, but also how I show up as a therapist. It taught me that healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about working through fear, shame, old narratives, & survival strategies that keep us from being who we truly are. Growth isn't a destination—it's a lifelong practice of becoming more authentic, more compassionate, & more connected to ourselves.
