Hi, I'm Clay Schultz. My passion for counseling grew out of years spent mentoring and supporting adolescents and young adults in schools, churches, and community settings. Those experiences showed me how powerful trusted relationships can be during life's challenges and ultimately led me to become a therapist. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, life transitions, and emotional regulation challenges. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative, drawing from Narrative Therapy, CBT, and other evidence-based practices. I believe therapy should feel personal and engaging. While traditional office sessions can be effective, I also enjoy incorporating clients' interests through outdoor walk-and-talk sessions, shooting hoops, hiking, gardening, or simply finding creative ways to make therapy feel more natural. Outside of counseling, you'll often find me riding my bike, playing basketball, or revisiting the world of Harry Potter. My goal is to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.
