Clifford Cantu, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker based in San Antonio, Texas. A native of San Antonio, Cliff earned his Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and began his work in the mental health field in 2010. Cliff returned home to San Antonio with his family in 2016, where he continues to serve his community by working with individuals facing a wide range of challenges—including mood disorders (such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder), substance use, trauma, and life transitions related to adulthood, such as fatherhood, parenting, blended families, and complex couples/family dynamics. Grounded in evidence-based practices, Cliff holds certifications in the treatment of trauma and mood disorders, along with extensive experience in treating addiction. Cliff creates a therapeutic environment rooted in authenticity, collaboration, and meaningful human connection. His approach is compassionate, practical, and empowering, helping clients identify their goals and take steps toward meaningful change. Outside of the therapy room, Cliff enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and their two Beagles. He’s a fan of live music and live sports and loves discovering new food.
