Hi, I'm Colleen Crockford, MSW, LICSW. I'm passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life's most difficult moments with compassion, curiosity, and hope. For more than 20 years, I've worked alongside individuals and families experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, domestic violence, and major life transitions. My career has taken me through community mental health, domestic violence advocacy, leadership roles, and veterinary social work, all of which have shaped my belief that healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and empowered. I specialize in working with children, teens, and families, using evidence-based approaches including play therapy, narrative therapy, somatic therapy, and trauma-informed care. I also have specialized experience supporting individuals and families coping with pet illness, end-of-life decisions, and the profound grief that can accompany the loss of an animal companion. In addition to therapy, I provide family mediation and parenting assessments for families navigating separation, co-parenting challenges, and other family transitions. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person and family I work with. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, build resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're seeking support for your child, your family, or yourself, my goal is to help you feel more connected, confident, and equipped to navigate whatever challenges you're facing.
