Hi, I’m Jonette Peretik, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, NCC) based in Louisiana. I also have a license to work with Texas clients via telehealth. I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a special focus on trauma, attachment, and relationship challenges. I also have experience supporting first responders and those in high-stress professions. My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I use a mix of humanistic and attachment-based methods, along with tools from DBT and mindfulness, to help clients feel grounded and empowered. In sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where we’ll explore your struggles at your pace and build practical skills for lasting change. I became a therapist because I believe every person deserves grace, healing, and a place to feel truly seen. It’s an honor to walk alongside clients as they navigate difficult seasons and discover their resilience. Outside of counseling, I’m a mom of three teens, and I stay active through Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and hiking. I also love cooking Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. These personal passions keep me balanced and remind me how important it is to nurture both body and mind.
