Connie is a dedicated therapist with a long history of providing counseling services in a variety of clinical settings. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges while helping them develop healthier ways of coping and moving forward. For 12 years, Connie worked extensively with active-duty military families and has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ community as well as individuals living with chronic health conditions and chronic pain, including those living with HIV. Connie believes in a holistic approach to mental health and strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel respected, supported, and understood. Her counseling style is caring, compassionate, and collaborative. She works alongside clients to identify strengths, develop practical solutions, and build greater self-awareness while recognizing that each person’s experiences and goals are unique. Connie works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, codependency, communication difficulties, anger management concerns, domestic violence, relationship and parenting challenges, stress, burnout, grief, divorce, and life transitions. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, visualization, and guided imagery to help clients develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful change in their lives.
