Introduction

I provide a connective space, in-person or virtually, for people navigating the lasting impact of trauma—especially when it shows up in complex or hard-to-explain ways. I am particularly focused on supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and work well with neurodivergent folks experiencing ADHD, AuDHD, and Autism. My approach is compassionate, patient, and intuitive, and I often integrate parts-work, education, EMDR, a dash of humor, and somatic perspectives. I want to help you make sense of your internal world so you can move toward a more connected and authentic life—on your own terms. I bring both professional training and lived understanding to this work. Having navigated adversity and complex, often inescapable life experiences that intersect with my identity, I understand how those early environments can shape our sense of self. Lived experience can be a valuable resource in our work together, so I approach everyone's story with a willingness to learn from you, and I provide resources from others with similar experiences to your own. My work is grounded in abolitionist and decolonial values. I recognize that many struggles are not simply individual but are connected to larger systems that perpetuate harm. I integrate harm reduction and restorative justice principles to create a space where healing is not about "what's wrong", but about developing a deeper understanding of how you adapted to the contexts that shaped you. Your dignity, confidentiality, and self-determination are non-negotiable in our work. You might feel disconnected from yourself or others, unsure why your reactions shift across situations, or are caught between different needs, emotions, or ways of being. Trust may feel complicated, your mind may be loud, or your past may feel either distant or ever-present. You may find yourself highly capable in moments of crisis, yet overwhelmed by everyday life, or longing for authenticity but unsure what that looks like for you. I work especially well with people who feel “different” in ways they can’t always explain—people who have learned to adapt, compartmentalize, or stay on autopilot to get through life. Together, we can gently explore your experiences, build insight, and support meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. _________________________________________ I am especially skilled in EMDR having completed and practiced several advanced trainings, such as Avoidance in EMDR and three levels of *IFS-informed EMDR with the Syzygy Institute, and have ongoing EMDR and parts-focused consultation. I am currently working toward EMDRIA Certification and the Advanced Certificate in Dissociation Studies for EMDR Therapists with the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. *I do not follow an IFS script due to its limited utility working with plurality. I include it here because I do have ample experience learning it but also unlearning it. You are encouraged to ask me more about how I do or do not utilize IFS in my practice. Select "Contact" to get started. I look forward to hearing from you.
