I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with a variety of populations. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Spelman College and received my Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. I have worked with children as young as 4 years old and adults aged 65 years young. Regardless of the age of my client, I treat each person with respect and dignity. Therapy is tailored for the client sitting in front of me based on their personal experiences and hopes for counseling. I have worked extensively with individuals who have experienced sexual trauma, which includes testifying as an expert witness regarding child sexual abuse. I have also worked with the Family Advocacy Division of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and am listed in their directory as a resource for families. My therapeutic approach consists of Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I also utilize books in therapy, specifically when working with young clients.
