Introduction

Cora grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and received an undergraduate degree in Philosophy/Religion from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD. She then received her Master's degree in College Counseling from South Dakota State University where she primarily worked with American Indian students. Since then Cora has provided therapy in different settings with a primary focus on trauma treatment. Cora approaches therapy from a client-centered perspective, meaning she views the client as the expert of their lives and she is there to be a partner and guide in their healing journey. Cora is certified in EMDR and has specialized training in perinatal mental health. She uses mindfulness-based and holistic strategies to help you navigate through challenges and heal wounds we all encounter in life.
